F.A.Q.

Q: Who can rush KTP?

Anyone is allowed to rush Kappa Theta Pi. We gladly accept all majors. The only requirement is that you must have at least 3 semesters left in school after your pledging semester.

Q: What is KTP looking for?

Many of the same things you are looking for in KTP is exactly what we are looking for in new members. People who are truly passionate about technology are the ones that will fit in best in KTP.

Q: How would I be able to benefit from KTP?

KTP has connections to many of the technological giants in the corporate world, despite only being recently established. More importantly, we offer mentoring in a variety of areas, such as career advising, interview prep, resumes and coursework. Networking is more than just professionalism, it's a process built on friendship, trust, and brotherhood.

Q: What majors are in KTP?

KTP is made up of a diverse group of people from schools all across campus. Generally, the majority of our members tend to be Computer Science majors or in the School of Information.

Q: What type of social events does KTP have?

KTP tries to have at least one sober and non sober event per month, this includes things such as barn dances, formal, going apple picking or bowling.

Q: What kind of time commitment is pledging?

Like many other organizations on campus, what you are willing to put into KTP is what you would get out of it. We believe that our pledging process is not strenuous and could easily be accommodated into the busiest of schedules.

If you have any further questions or want to learn more about KTP before rush feel free to send us an email or stop by our booths at Festifall and Northfest.
